I started playing with computers when I was very young. I had a BBC B back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and Teletext was the most interactive thing around. My father, who I hate to admit was right, got me to learn to program in BBC BASIC because “computers were the future”. I, like all children, attempted to rebel.
In 1999 I got a job as a Junior Analyst Developer with Westland Helicopters and learned how to program for SAP. I never looked back. I loved making computers do what they were supposed to, rather than what they seemed to want to.
After working for various companies around the UK I struck out on my own and decided to focus on website development (specifically in WordPress & WooCommerce) maintenance packages, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and training. I still love it. More importantly the people I work with love what I do.
